A spokesperson stated:
“We were called at 9:56 a.m. to reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles on the A14 at junction 21, New Ellington. Officers are at the scene along with firefighters and paramedics.
One woman is known to be injured, though the extent of her injuries and whether others were hurt remains unclear.
The eastbound carriageway is currently closed while emergency services respond, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
